The SWISS Arrival Lounge at Zurich Airport, located directly after Customs, is open every day from 0600-1300. I checked it out.

Comfort
At first glance, this is not a particularly big lounge - however, as you will read in the below, a lot of the lounge's total space is devoted to shower cabins. When I arrived off a flight from Miami, around 1100, there were only four or five other travellers here, and plenty of space to spread out.

Cleanliness
Extremely clean everywhere (as to be expected); no plates or cutlery on tables, no glasses waiting on counters. Shower rooms and toilets: all immaculately clean.

Food and Drink
I was very pleased with this aspect. While there was not a cooking station per sé, the breakfast buffet was extensive, and constantly replenished. My favourite, Bircher Müesli, was available, as were a nice selection of cereals, breads, juices and hot breakfast items. I also enjoyed a freshly blended smoothie (several, in fact) from the breakfast bar.

Facilities
The "quiet corner/relaxation rooms" and the breakfast bar were both nice, as were the ten computer stations - but the standout facility here is clearly the extensive shower area. There are 20 cubicles in total, each named after a SWISS destination. Each of the cubicles have full bathroom and shower facilities. I ended up in "Beijing" and had a very nice and refreshing shower - all while my shirt and trousers were pressed (each shower room has a "valet closet").

Service
While the receptionist seemed a tad too busy doing not a whole lot, he was friendly enough. The staff manning the breakfast bar and the cleaning staff were incredibly friendly and chirpy.

Verdict
While I assume that the lounge is quite a but busier in the early morning hours than during my visit, I was impressed with all aspects of this lounge. A perfect place to freshen up after a long flight.
